Limited Liablity Company RTO Vagonu serviss, founded at the end of 2009, provides technical inspection of freight wagons of all types of incoming and outgoing rolling stock. The company determines and performs all the required repair actions upon fault detection. Likewise, it also conducts technical inspection of wagons to ensure their operational validity.

RTO Vagonu serviss operates in the following areas:

• technical inspection of incoming and outgoing wagons; 
• technical inspection of empty wagons;
• inspection of carriage safety systems and joint strength;
• technical inspection of carriages’ running gear, brake and automatic attachment systems, body, roof and frame;
• wagon repair, replacement of separate units or parts.

With a staff of 13 employees, RTO Vagonu serviss registered a total revenue of almost 50 thousand Euros in 2009. The company provides services to the LLC Rīgas Tirdzniecības osta (RTO) group of companies and develops a service range to other enterprises that operate in the port of Rīga. The company operates in accordance with the safety certificate issued by the State Railway Technical Inspectorate of the Republic of Latvia and in close cooperation with Latvijas Dzelzceļš, the national railway company of Latvia.

RTO is the sole owner of LLC RTO Vagonu serviss (100%).
