The joint stock company Rigas ostas elevators (ROE) is the only specialised terminal facility for grain handling and storage in the port of Riga. The main services of ROE include grain and oilseed transshipment to and from vessels, rail wagons and heavy vehicles, and also storage, drying, fumigation and disinfection of grain.

ROE provides a maximum storage capacity of 45,000 tons with a quayside of 200 metres and 7 metre draft that allows to service vessels of up to 20,000 tons. The personnel of 50 qualified stuff keep the terminal operational 365 days a year.

In 2009, ROE handled 432,000 tons of grain with total revenues exceeding 2.3 million Euro. As of 2007, RTO owns 95.51% shares in ROE.

The largest clients of the terminal include LATRAPS LLC, ARGO TRADE LATVIA LLC and KEMIRA GROWNHOW.
